Lord Have Mercy was founded by Dr. Joseph Nassralla in 2011.  Surviving Christian persecution himself in Egypt, he has since dedicated his life to serving his Christian brothers and sisters in the Middle East. 

With partnerships from people like you, Lord Have Mercy now serves more than 3,000 suffering Christian families in the Middle East.  If it weren't for LHM, 1400 of these families would currently be homeless with no where to turn.  Working with local churches and pastors (many underground), refugees are provided shelter, food, clothing, and medicine.  The Lord Have Mercy team tirelessly works to provide for their physical and spiritual needs.

In the early 1900s, 20% of the population in the Middle East were Christian.  Today, that number is down to only 4%.  Tens of thousands of Christians are being persecuted, killed, and run out of their homes.  Nearly a million Christians have fled Iraq since 1990 alone.  In Syria, 85 Christian churches have been destroyed with close to 1,000 Christians killed since 2011.
