How are these families found and identified?
Most families come to us after their city or village has been destroyed and the United Nations has stopped providing emergency assistance.
Where do they stay?
The refugees are housed in an expansive tent city filled with tents and mobile houses.
How is food distributed?
The food is bought either already prepared or it is cooked in the tent city and mobile houses that were built specially for the refugees.
How is clothing distributed?
Clothing is distributed every 3-4 months, focusing on the needs of the children first.
How is their safety ensured?
Where risk and danger is everywhere, we do what we can to keep the refugees save, beginning by setting up our camps in the most secure areas. We ultimately trust in the name of Jesus and praise him for each day of safety.
What happens once the refugees are aided?
Each refugee has a different story. Some of go to neighboring cities to start a new life fairly quickly while others stay longer until they can stand on there feet again. Some refugees leave the country, but very few.
